We’ve been planning some fun festive activities for our young riders at Silverstone Riding School!

22nd December, 10AM to 5PM, J5 to J7 riders - we’ve got our Christmas Party day for some of our more experienced young riders aged between 11 and 18, including Christmas themed games and jumping, a pony and rider fancy dress competition, and more. There’ll be a rosette for each rider. 

23rd December, 10AM to 1PM, U to J2 riders - we’re very pleased to host a very special guest again – you’ve guessed it! Santa will be here to meet some of our younger riders in our ‘Santa's Grotto Pony Party and Fun Morning’, for ungraded to J2 riders, aged 4 upwards. The fun will start at 10AM where riders and their ponies will enjoy some festive pony fun before meeting Santa.

23rd December, 2PM to 6PM, J3 to J4 riders - we will be hosting our Christmas Party afternoon for J3 to J4 graded riders. Some of our young riders aged 8 to 16 will join us for Christmas themed games and jumping, a pony and rider fancy dress competition and more. There’ll be a rosette for each rider.

We’ll be closed on the 24th, 25th and 26th December, but on Saturday 27th, it will be business as usual. Please check ECPro for lesson availability on that day.

30th December, 10AM to 1PM, J1 to J2 riders - more holiday fun in the form of our Own a Pony morning for J1 and J2 graded riders, from 4 years upwards. Riders will be allocated a pony, and the morning will include stable management as well as a ridden session for about an hour. What we do in our ridden session may vary depending on the weather etc, but we will be having lots of fun!!

30th December, 2PM to 6PM, J3 to J5 riders - the holiday fun continues with Own a Pony afternoon for J3 to J5 graded riders, from 7 years upwards. Again, riders will be allocated a pony, and the activity will include stable management as well as a ridden session for about an hour. What we do in our ridden session may vary depending on the weather etc, but we will be having lots of fun!! The activity runs from 2PM to 6PM, but we’d like to invite all riders taking part in the Own a Pony afternoon who have completed our compulsory helper session, or who are registered with Pony Club UK, to arrive between 08:00 and 09:00 in the morning to help with the Own a Pony morning for the less experienced riders.

31st December - jumping fun! From 10AM to 1PM we will be running our mini jumping morning for J3 and J4 riders, and from 2PM to 6PM we will host our J5 to J7 riders for a jumping afternoon.    

Please note:

All children under 8 must have an accompanying adult to supervise them for the duration of the following events:

   23rd December - Santa's Grotto Pony Party and Fun Morning
   30th December - Own a Pony morning

Please ensure riders are dressed appropriately, considering the weather conditions. To aide rider safety, sturdy boots with a slight heel should be worn, trainers are not allowed

Please bring plenty of snacks and a drink
